FAQ

About Afterhours

What is Afterhours Fuel?

Afterhours Fuel is a nightlife inspired brand from Austin, Texas, made for people who work hard and play hard. We believe health should fit your life, not replace it. Afterhours lets you train hard and still show up for every part of your life: your career, your workouts, your friends, your family, your travel, and yes, the night. It's not just about going out. It's about never having to choose between taking care of yourself and actually living. Our first product, QuickSet, is a plant based protein and creatine stick pack built to keep up with all of it.

What does "Fuel the day. Power the night." mean?

It's the whole Afterhours philosophy in five words. "Fuel the day" is the early alarm, the workout, the meetings, the errands, and the grind. "Power the night" is the dinner with friends, the show, the dance floor, and the late flight. Most wellness brands tell you to pick one side. We think you shouldn't have to. Afterhours is built for a balanced lifestyle: wellness without sacrifice, fitness and nightlife together, and a realistic healthy lifestyle you can actually stick to for the long haul.

Who is Afterhours for?

Afterhours is for anyone with an active lifestyle and a full calendar. That includes gym regulars, runners and run club crews, hybrid and Hyrox athletes, Pilates and yoga lovers, busy professionals, parents on the move, night shift nurses, bartenders and service industry folks, DJs and musicians on tour, and anyone whose day runs straight into night. If you care about your health but refuse to give up the things that make life fun, you're who we make this for.

Is Afterhours guilt free?

That's the whole idea. Afterhours is about balance, not perfection. QuickSet has 0g sugar and 100 calories per stick, so it fits your goals without asking you to skip the birthday dinner or the weekend plans. We think guilt is the enemy of consistency. When healthy habits fit into your real life, you keep them, and that's what actually gets results.

Where is Afterhours Fuel based?

Afterhours was born in Austin, Texas, a city that does both fitness and nightlife better than almost anywhere. You'll find us at Austin run clubs, wellness events, pop ups, festivals and nights out around town. Austin's mix of early morning trail runs and late night live music is exactly the lifestyle Afterhours was built for.

What makes Afterhours different from other supplement brands?

Most supplement brands make you choose between fitness and fun. Afterhours is made for both. Instead of a giant tub and a scoop, QuickSet gives you 20g of vegan protein and 5g of creatine in one pre-measured stick that fits in your pocket and goes wherever your day takes you.

Does Afterhours make apparel?

Yes. The Afterhours Blackout Hat is a structured 6-panel brushed cotton hat with a raised Afterhours logo. It's built to go from a morning workout to a late night out without missing a beat, just like everything else we make. It's in stock now.

Protein and Creatine in One

What is Afterhours QuickSet?

QuickSet is protein and creatine in one pocketable stick pack. Each stick has 20g of vegan pea and rice protein and 5g of creatine, with 0g sugar and 100 calories. It's gluten free, dairy free and third party tested. You just tear it open, pour it into water, shake, and go. It was designed for people who want the benefits of a full protein and creatine routine without carrying tubs, scoops and shaker bottles everywhere.

Why combine protein and creatine?

Protein and creatine are two of the most popular and widely used supplements out there, and a lot of active people already take them together every day. The problem is that it usually means buying two products, storing two containers, and measuring two scoops, which is easy to skip when life gets busy. QuickSet gives you an all in one protein and creatine routine in a single stick. One packet, one drink, done. That makes it far easier to stay consistent, and consistency is what matters most.

Can you mix protein and creatine together?

Yes, and QuickSet does it for you. Each stick is a pre-measured 2 in 1 protein and creatine serving that you mix with water. There's no guessing at scoop sizes, no spilled powder and no wondering whether you already took your creatine today. Every stick gives you the same complete serving, every time.

Is it cheaper than buying protein and creatine separately?

QuickSet replaces two products with one. There's no bulky tub of protein powder and no separate jar of creatine monohydrate to buy, store, scoop and remember. You also waste less, because every serving is portioned and sealed, so nothing goes stale or gets left behind in the back of the cabinet.

Creatine

How much creatine is in QuickSet?

Each QuickSet stick has 5g of creatine, a full daily serving, already measured for you. You don't need to add anything or track separate doses. One stick covers your protein and your creatine in one go.

Is QuickSet vegan creatine?

Yes. QuickSet is a plant based protein and creatine formula that's vegan, dairy free and gluten free. If you follow a vegan or plant based diet, or you just prefer to avoid animal products, QuickSet gives you creatine and complete plant protein in one clean stick pack.

Is QuickSet good creatine for women?

Creatine has become one of the most talked about supplements for women who lift, run, do Pilates, or just want to stay strong and active. QuickSet makes it simple, with no tub, no scoop and no gritty texture, in a flavor you'll actually look forward to. If you have questions about creatine for your own health needs, check with your doctor.

Do I need to take creatine every day?

Many people take creatine daily as part of their routine, which is why convenience matters so much. A QuickSet stick makes that easy because the dose is already measured and the packet goes anywhere: your gym bag, your desk or your carry on. It's easy to stay consistent even on travel days, busy weeks and late nights. Talk to your doctor about what's right for you.

When should I take QuickSet?

Whenever it fits your day. Some people take it before a workout, some after, some at their desk mid-afternoon, and some on the way out the door before a night out. The best time is the time you'll actually stick with. Because QuickSet travels in your pocket, you can take it wherever you are, whenever it works.

Protein

What kind of protein is in QuickSet?

QuickSet uses a pea and rice protein blend. It's a plant based protein that's vegan, dairy free, gluten free and third party tested.

Why pea and rice protein?

Pea protein and rice protein each bring something different to the table, and they're often paired in plant based protein powders because together they make a more complete plant protein. That's why we use both. The result is a well rounded vegan protein that supports your training without any dairy.

How much protein is in each stick?

Each QuickSet stick has 20g of plant protein. That's a solid, meaningful serving in a packet small enough for your pocket, so getting more protein into a busy day is as simple as grabbing a stick and a bottle of water.

Is QuickSet a good dairy free protein powder?

Is QuickSet a low calorie protein drink?

Yes. Each stick is 100 calories with 0g sugar, which makes it a high protein, low calorie option that fits almost any goal. Whether you're building muscle, leaning out, or just trying to hit your daily protein, QuickSet adds a lot of protein without a lot of calories.

Is QuickSet gluten free?

Is QuickSet third party tested?

Does plant protein taste chalky?

Not this one. QuickSet isn't a chalky, thick or creamy shake. It's a light, juicy, refreshing protein drink you mix with water, made for people who are tired of the same old chocolate and vanilla protein. It drinks more like a flavored drink than a protein shake, which makes it easy to enjoy every day.

Do I need a shaker bottle?

No. QuickSet mixes with just water, so any water bottle works, whether it's a reusable bottle, a plastic bottle from the gas station, or a cup at your desk. You never have to pack or wash a shaker again.

Why single serve protein packets?

Single serve protein packets are pre-measured and sealed, so there's no tub, no scoop and no guessing. They fit in a pocket, gym bag, purse, glove box or desk drawer, so protein on the go is always within reach. They also stay fresh until you open them, and there's no powder spilled all over your counter or your car.

How big is a QuickSet stick?

Each stick is 33.2g and slim enough to fit in your pocket, so it's easy to carry anywhere. Toss a few in your bag and you're covered for the whole day, or the whole trip.

Travel

Are QuickSet stick packs good for travel?

Yes, they were made for it. These travel protein packets slide into a carry on, a backpack, a gym bag or a suitcase pocket, so you can keep your routine on vacation, business trips, road trips, camping trips and festival weekends. No more leaving your progress at home just because you're away from your kitchen.

Can you bring protein powder on a plane?

TSA rules on powders can change, so check the current TSA guidelines before you fly. Small, sealed single serve packets like QuickSet are easy to pack in a carry on, and they're much simpler to travel with than a big tub or a bag of loose powder.

How do I keep my gains on vacation?

Bring your routine with you. A few QuickSet sticks give you protein and creatine in a hotel gym, at the beach, on a hike, or before a night out. Staying consistent on the road is one of the hardest parts of any fitness routine, and QuickSet makes it as easy as grabbing a bottle of water.
